STRAWBERRY SAUCE (TOPPING)

Homemade strawberry sauce is bright and refreshing and adds a pop of summer to any dish. Use fresh or frozen berries!

Homemade strawberry sauce captures that fresh taste of summer so it can be enjoyed all year long!

INGREDIENTS

– strawberries fresh or frozen – water – granulated sugarmore or less to taste – cornstarch – lemon juice

Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan. Heat over medium-high heat and bring to a low boil, and continue to cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly.

STRAWBERRY SAUCE

Cool slightly before serving. Store in a covered container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
