With chopped Snickers bars in the batter and the topping, along with chocolate syrup, caramel sauce, and roasted peanuts, these Snickers pancakes are sure to satisfy!
Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt into a large mixing bowl.
Add the milk, melted butter, egg, brown sugar, and vanilla, and mix just until combined.
Let the batter rest for 10 minutes. Preheat griddle or pan.
Fold in chopped Snickers.
Spray preheated griddle or pan with cooking spray.
Using a ¼ measuring cup, pour pancake batter onto griddle.
Cook for 2-3 minutes or until edges are slightly set and bubbles are forming on top of the surface of the pancake batter.
Flip and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Plate and garnish with the toppings.
Notes
Makes 12-13 pancakes.
The batter will be very thick after resting. This is necessary because it needs to be thick enough to support the chopped Snickers pieces.
The griddle must be sprayed with non-stick cooking spray to prevent the chopped Snickers from sticking to the surface.
These pancakes don’t spread much, so they stay the same size and shape during cooking.
Cook these pancakes on LOW heat. They brown pretty quickly, so it’s good to check the bottoms using a spatula to lift the edges to take a peek at them before flipping.
